Mixed Packing and Mixed Palletising

Mixed packing automation is a complete process. This is a packing process used in productions where different products are packed in one and the same box. This mix function is currently carried out manually in most places even though it can be quickly and easily automated saving manual labour and/or making it possible to relocate employees to other tasks. And the advantages are numerous – automation can reduce costs, time expenditure, and it can improve the physical working environment for the employees involved. This is possible due to the robotic unit's lifting capacity and flexibility.

Increased Efficiency

Besides being extremely flexible, mixed packing is a packing process that will give your company great production freedom. This is due to the many available possibilities of changing products and the sequence in the final box, leading to increased efficiency. The mixed packing product area is relevant in many businesses and for many products. BILA has made mixed packing solutions for mixing shellfish at Royal Greenland and for Buko cheese spreads at Arla Birkum.
